KK will be played on Tuesday and Friday mornings. 4 courts will be booked off from 9 12 noon
There will be TWO sessions: the first from 9-10 30 am and the second, from 10 30 -12 noon.
16 players will sign up for ONE session, on Court Reserve, under “Events”.
Players will arrive PROMPTLY, 5 mins BEFORE their playing time.
A VOLUNTEER will assign 4 players to each, of courts 3, 4, 5 and 6. After a 10 minute warm up, players will begin playing no ad. games. After 20 minutes, the volunteer will call TIME, (whistle or megaphone). STOP play immediately!
Winners move to higher number court, 3 to 4, 4 to 5 to 5 to 6 and 6 to 3, … and SPLIT up.
Losers stay on the same court and split up.
If the score is EVEN, say 2 games all and DEUCE, DO NOT PLAY ANOTHER POINT, just
spin a racket and move on……Begin playing again, until another 20 minutes is called.This means you will play with four different partners in four different games, meet new people and have FUN.
THIS IS VERY DIFFERENT FROM FORMER KK, but we are not allowed to gather in groups, drink coffee, and sit and socialize, as yet. Do hope everyone will play socially with people of different levels: it MIGHT be possible to make the two sessions different levels as we proceed.
Remember, COVID has changed many things, stay safe and we will adapt as things go on.
