Club Pro Stephanie

Stephanie Willerding is a Canadian tennis coach who has proudly moved back to her home city of Toronto. Prior to moving back, she taught tennis abroad in Thailand and Australia for the last six years, having run her own academy and teaching tennis at a prestigious all girls private school in Brisbane, Australia. She first began tennis at the age of 7 years old and has played competitively throughout her life. Stephanie’s been ranked as high as thirteenth in Canada and has worked with beginners to high performance tournament players where she toured South-East Asia as her players competed in junior tournaments.

Prior to coaching in Thailand, Stephanie attended the University of Texas Pan-American where she went on a full Division 1 tennis scholarship graduating with a B.A. in Psychology. She completed her High-Performance Coach 2, certified by Tennis Canada, the Professional Tennis Registry (PTR) Coach 1 completed in Singapore and Tennis Australia Community Coaching course. Stephanie also teaches winter tennis High Performance with the NYTA.

She has an immense passion for tennis and is determined to spread the tennis love. Her desire to start teaching tennis to young beginners is what keeps tennis fresh and exciting.
