Happy back to school, back to work day! .
For those who came to share the club’s Labour Day Social, we hope you enjoyed yourselves and the great food and company. Many did say excellent things… keep the good words coming to Shana, our Socials Director, and her volunteer crew who ran around fetching ice and replacement watermelons [ours went bad last minute and all the shops were closed] and last-minute items as will always happen, to render a flawless event catering to more than 130 people; thank you to Nigel who tirelessly does the RR [he gave up his US Open visit this year!] and many other Board members who give up their long weekend to make it a special one for you, our members. Thank you to Yonex who came to demo racquets – you can purchase Yonex items directly at Racquet Guys in Markham. Mention where you tried the racquets.

We’re bringing back another popular DMTC event – the year-end Banquet Gala! Covid had shut us down for a few years, but we’re baaack!
Come celebrate the season with your tennis friends, ICTA teammates, KK, House League, and lesson groups. Non-member spouses/partners are all welcome. Tickets are very reasonable ($60 pp includes wine at the table, all taxes, and gratuities) considering the inflationary prices, so come support this club event and have a fun party night of dinner, dancing, and lots of laughs and photos.
