Club Update – Opening Socials (04/28/2023)
Opening Social canceled Sat April 29th - delayed to next Sunday May 7, 2023 Hello Don Mills members: The story is about the weather. We were lucky we made it through this week with quite frosty tryouts most mornings - - at least we weren’t rained out for days on end! We are one of the few clubs who completed our numerous tryouts outdoors without booking indoor courts, despite some dicey moments of doubts and Plan B-ing and Plan C-ing. A small update on DMTC relateds. The club officially opens Sat. April 29th with a Social supposed to happen 10-2 pm that [...]
Club Update – Apr 21, 2023
Update_ and Club opens on Saturday, April 29, 2023 Hello Don Mills members: We’re sure you’re enjoying the finer weather! A small update on DMTC relateds. With the recent fortunate warm spell, it gave the NYTA crew the opportunity to work smoothly without wet weather interruptions. They brought the bubble down by last Saturday and could put it away safely. We got access this week and DMTC volunteers under the leadership of Grounds Director Scott Harrald, have made great headway setting up the courts, windscreens, and nets so we can have on-time access to courts. There is still some left to [...]
