Tuesday, October 4th, 2022 at 7 pm The Annual General Meeting of the Don Mills Tennis Club will be held on Tuesday, October 4th, 2022, at 7 pm at the Donway Covenant United Church (230 The Donway West, Don Mills, ON, M3B 2V8). The purpose of this meeting is to review the 2022 summer season and to receive a summary report presented by all Board Directors. Summer Update DMTC (July 28, 2022)

Congratulations DMTC juniors! who won the gold medal at last Sunday’s OTA Rocks Festival/ ICTA Junior Tournament. Both teams went deep into quarter-finals, semis, then finals. In dramatic fashion, a U18 doubles 10-point tiebreaker was needed to decide the championship against Dentonia TC. The tiebreaker score was 3-3, 6-6, 9-9, and then 11-9 for Don Mills. CONGRATULATIONS juniors on showing your toughness and managing your game! Congrats also to the hard-working Jr team captains John Chow and Ken Chin. Dear Don Mills members: Our season is well under way, and I hope you’re enjoying your tennis and all the club’s offerings. Some updates and reminders for all members: The Singles tournaments are successfully under way with 6 divisions of players. Participants are saying they’re enjoying it a lot and meeting new people. Participants are reminded to please stay on track or get ahead with your play schedule and to report in to Nigel McClean if there are undue difficulties. Many take holidays in July/August. Nigel McClean, our Leagues Director, and a very dedicated individual will inform you of the rules and such. Dear Friends of Don Mills Tennis Club, Hope your winter has gone well, with some or a good amount of indoor tennis. We’re looking forward to bringing you a wonderful season of tennis in 2022!
